Kuchnia (Kitchen in Polish) is the beating heart of every Polish household. Kuchnia is the hub, a place where you meet, talk, laugh and cry. A safe space where good memories are made.
Growing up during 1980 and 1990s in rapidly changing Poland, Kuchnia was the safe haven, a refuge from the crazy outside world. Kuchnia was where you got back to after a whole day of playing outside as a kid. OBIAD! (Dinner in Polish) - shouted out by mums from kitchens’ windows, was the call to go home to re-charge and feast on homely, wholesome, delicious meals made with love and care.
A ‘wind of change’ brought new cuisines never known to Poles before. One specific dish however has found its special place in Polish culinary landscape, and that dish is Kebab.
